Meesho image size and photo resizer
Make your product photos the right size for each marketplace. For Meesho, sellers most often report a square photo of about 1000 x 1000 px or more, JPEG, with no logo or text. Drop your photos and pick a marketplace: each comes back the right size and file size, with what changed.

Your photos never leave this computerphone
- Each photo is opened, resized and saved inside this browser tab. Nothing is uploaded, not even to OrderLens.
- Photos are done one at a time, and each big photo is let go of as soon as it is resized.
- Only your choices (the size, the colour and the naming) are remembered in this browser for next time. Never the photos or your SKUs.
- If you choose a folder to save in, only your folder choice is kept, in this browser. The files stay in your folder.
What the resizer does, and what it never does
- Fits the whole photo inside the size you pick and fills only the empty space left with white, or light grey (the Flipkart and Shopsy clothing size uses light grey). Your photo's own background stays as it was shot. It never stretches the product and never cuts any of it off.
- Picks the highest JPEG quality that stays under the file size, and tells you when a photo could not get there.
- Points out photos that are too small to enlarge cleanly, and photos whose edges are not plain white or light. These are hints, not a marketplace's decision.
- Does not remove or change backgrounds, add text, or touch the product itself.
Photo rules by marketplace, checked 21 October 2026. None of these marketplaces shows its photo rules on an open page we could read, so each rule says how sure it is. Your seller panel's upload screen is the final word.
Meesho image size and photo rules
Meesho keeps its photo rules inside the supplier panel, behind the login, so the sizes below are what sellers report. They disagree: 500, 1000, 1200 and 1500 px all come up. 1000 x 1000 is the one repeated most.
| What | Rule | How sure |
|---|---|---|
| Size | A square photo of about 1000 x 1000 px or more | Seller-reported |
| File | JPEG. Sellers report files up to about 5 MB are taken. We keep files under 1 MB so uploads are quick | Seller-reported |
| On the photo | No logo, watermark, price, text or MRP sticker | Seller-reported |
| The product | The whole product, no props, more than one photo per product | Seller-reported |
Flipkart and Shopsy image size
Shopsy listings come from the Flipkart seller account, so the same photos serve both. These rules come from a listing partner's help pages that copy the Flipkart seller portal.
| What | Rule | How sure |
|---|---|---|
| Size | At least 1000 x 1000 px; check your category's own minimum in the seller portal | Reported |
| File | JPEG only. No file-size limit was given. We keep files under 1 MB so uploads are quick | Reported |
| Clothing | Flipkart's listing partner says clothing needs a light grey background, not white. Pick Flipkart and Shopsy clothing and this tool adds light grey in the empty space around the photo. Your photo's own background stays as it was shot, so shoot clothing on light grey | Reported |
| Background | Other products: white or light grey for the first photo | Reported |
| How many | At least 2 and at most 5 photos, depending on the category | Reported |
| On the photo | No price tag, sticker, text or watermark; not cropped, stretched or blurred | Reported |
Amazon product image size
Amazon's own help pages need a seller login. These rules are repeated in Amazon's seller forums and seller guides.
| What | Rule | How sure |
|---|---|---|
| Size | 1000 px or more on the longest side, so buyers can zoom. This tool makes 1500 x 1500 | Reported |
| Background | Pure white for the main photo, and the product fills about 85% of it | Reported |
| File | JPEG is preferred; PNG and TIFF are also taken | Reported |
| File name | Names like SKU.MAIN.jpg and SKU.PT01.jpg help when you upload many. Newer upload tools take any name, so this is an option, not a rule | Reported |
Myntra image size
Myntra is the one marketplace here that wants a tall photo, not a square. A big square photo is still the wrong shape.
| What | Rule | How sure |
|---|---|---|
| Size | 1080 x 1440 px or more, 72 dpi or more | Reported |
| Shape | 3:4 (tall) | Reported |
| File | JPEG only, between 500 KB and 1 MB | Reported |
| Background | White or light grey | Reported |
Snapdeal and other marketplaces
Snapdeal's rules below come from a copy of its seller image guide, read second-hand. For any other marketplace, pick Custom and type the size its seller panel asks for.
| What | Rule | How sure |
|---|---|---|
| Clothing | 1200 x 1600 px or more (3:4), on a light plain background | Reported |
| Shoes, bags, watches | 1105 x 1300 px or more; white background for fashion accessories | Reported |
| File | JPEG, 100 KB to 10 MB. We keep files under 2 MB so uploads are quick | Reported |
| On the photo | No border, watermark or text | Reported |
How to resize product photos for a marketplace
- Drop up to 50 product photos in the box, or click Choose photos. JPEG, PNG and WebP work; iPhone HEIC photos need to be exported as JPEG first.
- Pick the marketplace on the left, or Custom with your own size. To name the files by SKU, pick a naming and type the SKU, or one SKU per line.
- Read each photo's line and its hints, then click Download all to get one zip, or Save on a single photo. Upload them in your seller panel as usual.
Questions sellers ask about product photos
What image size does Meesho accept?
Meesho keeps its photo rules inside the supplier panel, behind the login, so there is no open page to quote. Sellers most often report a square photo of about 1000 x 1000 px or more, as JPEG, with no logo, watermark, price or text on it. Reported sizes disagree (500, 1000, 1200 and 1500 px all come up), so check the upload screen in your panel. This tool's Meesho size makes 1000 x 1000 JPEGs. We keep files under 1 MB so uploads are quick; that is our choice, not a Meesho rule.
What size should Flipkart, Amazon and Myntra photos be?
As reported, not from an open marketplace page: Flipkart (and Shopsy) at least 1000 x 1000 px, JPEG, 2 to 5 photos per listing. Flipkart's listing partner says clothing needs a light grey background, not white, so this tool has a Flipkart clothing size that adds light grey in the empty space around the photo. The photo's own background stays as it was shot, so shoot clothing on light grey too. Amazon 1000 px or more on the longest side so buyers can zoom, pure white behind the main photo. Myntra is the odd one: a tall 3:4 photo of 1080 x 1440 px or more, JPEG, between 500 KB and 1 MB. The tables on this page give each one with how sure it is.
Can I put my logo, price or text on a Meesho photo?
Sellers report that Meesho does not want a logo, watermark, price, MRP sticker or added text on catalog photos, and Flipkart and Amazon are reported to say the same for the main photo. This tool never adds anything to a photo; it only resizes it and pads it with white or light grey.
My photo is too small: will resizing make it blurry?
Making a photo bigger cannot add detail that was not there. A little bigger (up to about one and a half times) usually looks fine; more than that looks soft or blurry when a buyer zooms. The tool tells you which photos it had to enlarge and by how much. If you can, take the photo again with the phone's main camera at full size.
How should I name photo files by SKU?
Use your own SKU (your code for one product, like KRT-BLU-01) and a number, like KRT-BLU-01-1.jpg and KRT-BLU-01-2.jpg, so you can find the right photos later. Some sellers use SKU.MAIN.jpg for the main photo and SKU.PT01.jpg for the next ones, a naming sellers use for Amazon bulk photo uploads. Newer upload screens are reported to take any name, so it is an option, not a rule.
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. The photos are opened, resized and saved inside this browser tab and are not sent to OrderLens or anyone else. Only your choices, like the size and the naming, are remembered in this browser for next time.
