Snapdeal does not publish its fees. These boxes hold estimates: change them to the rates in your seller panel. Returns, RTO, packing and ads on orders that do not stay are shared over the ones that do. Fees include 18% GST, which comes back in the GST line. Your bank gets about 0.6% less for a while (TCS and TDS, returned when you file).

How Snapdeal charges sellers

Snapdeal publishes no rate card: these are typical figures from its filings and seller reports, checked 13 Oct 2026.

  • Marketing fee (its commission): 0% for zero-commission sellers, who pay for visibility through ads instead; about 12% for apparel otherwise.
  • Shipping and collection: about ₹40 to ₹80 up to 500 g, and about 2% collection.
  • Customer return: you pay both trips. An RTO (the courier could not deliver) reportedly costs you nothing.
  • TCS 0.5% and TDS 0.1% are held from each payment and come back when you file GST and income tax.
  • Payment: 10 to 12 working days after delivery.

Example: a ₹499 kurta on Snapdeal

A ₹499 kurta for a zero-commission seller, with typical figures:

Marketing fee
₹0
Shipping
about ₹60
Collection fee (2%)
about ₹9.98
Lands in your bank
about ₹414

You keep about ₹405 before your own cost and packing.

How the calculator works it out

It follows 100 orders. Some never reach the buyer (RTO), some reach the buyer and come back (customer returns), and the rest stay delivered. What the returns, RTOs, packing and ads cost on the orders that did not stay is shared over the ones that did, so the answer is the real profit on each order you keep.

Fees are shown with their 18% GST, the cash you pay. That GST comes back in the GST line as input credit. Type any number of orders to see every line as orders × amount, so you can check the sum yourself.
