Payment sirf un orders ka milta hai jo deliver hue aur customer ne rakh liye. Lekin packaging har parcel pe lagti hai, aur har customer return pe return shipping. Toh jo orders wapas aaye, unka cost baaki orders pe aata hai. Isliye delivered orders se divide karein.
Example: 100 parcels
Panel pe aapka price ₹500 hai (5% GST included hai) aur ek piece ki cost ₹250 hai. Packaging ₹14 per parcel. Ads pe ₹700 spend hue, GST ke saath: saare 100 parcels pe ₹7 per parcel, kyunki har order ad se nahi aaya. 100 parcels bheje: 20 RTO hoke wapas aaye, 10 customer ne return kiye (₹175 each), aur 70 delivered rahe (return nahi aaye).
Hum ₹500 price se start karte hain, bank mein aane wale around ₹492 se nahi. Shipping mostly customer ka money hai (shipping ka real cost), aur TCS-TDS wapas milta hai.
Example se samjhein
Ek delivered order ka profit
| Aapka priceJo panel pe set kiya | ₹500 |
| Aapki costEk piece | −₹250 |
| Return shipping10 × ₹175 = ₹1,750, 70 orders pe divide | −₹25 |
| Packaging100 × ₹14 = ₹1,400, 70 pe divide | −₹20 |
| Ads₹700, 70 pe divide | −₹10 |
| GST payablePrice ke andar around ₹24, minus return shipping aur ads pe wapas mila around ₹5 | −₹18.47 |
| Har delivered order ka real profit | ₹176.53 |
Example numbers, real store nahi. ₹176.53 matlab around ₹177.
- Aapki cost₹250
- Return shipping₹25
- Packaging₹20
- Ads₹10
- GST payable₹18.47
- Aapka profit₹176.53
Upar wale example ke numbers.
Price minus cost ₹250 dikhata hai. Real profit around ₹177 hai, matlab almost 30% kam. 100 parcels pe total profit around ₹12,360 hua. Matlab har placed order pe around ₹124, lekin har delivered order pe ₹177. Price set karne ke liye ₹177 wala number use karein.
Jitne zyada parcels wapas aayenge, gap utna bada hoga, kyunki har delivered order pe packaging aur ads ka share badh jaata hai. Yeh bhi padhein: return aur RTO ka kitna charge lagta hai.
Apne numbers kahan milenge
Neeche ke file facts ek real store ki payment files se hain, May to October 2026.
- Aapki cost: ek piece kitne ka padta hai. Return ya RTO wala piece wapas stock mein jaata hai, isliye cost sirf delivered orders pe count karein.
- Return shipping: payment file mein returns ka Return Shipping Charge (Incl. GST) column. Around 94% returns pe yeh flat ₹175 tha. RTO pe ₹0.
- Kitne wapas aaye: 2-3 weeks pehle close hue month ke Delivered, Return aur RTO, Sub Order No se count karein, taaki most orders complete ho jaayein.
- Packaging: bag, tape aur label ka apna bill, shipped parcels se divide. Yeh payment file mein nahi hota.
- Ads: Ads Cost sheet ka Total Ads Cost add karein. Usme 18% GST already included tha.
- GST rate: Product GST % column. ₹2,500 tak ke clothes pe 5%, usse upar 18%. Old 12% rate 22 September 2025 se remove ho gaya, toh other products pe bhi ab different rate ho sakta hai.
- Wapas milne wala GST: regular GST registered seller usually return shipping aur ads ke andar ka 18% GST input credit mein wapas le sakta hai (jo GST aapne pehle hi pay kar diya, woh aapke GST bill se minus ho jaata hai), agar marketplace ka tax invoice hai. Composition scheme mein (small sellers jo fixed low rate pe GST dete hain) kuch wapas nahi milta. GST registration nahi hai toh rule different hai: apne CA se poochein.
Kya count nahi karna
- Forward shipping. Most of it customer aapke price ke upar pay karta hai, toh aapka cost sirf around ₹5 hai. Full calculation yahan.
- TCS (0.5%) aur TDS (0.1%). Yeh tax credit hain, cost nahi. TCS GST hai: GST portal pe wapas milta hai. TDS 0.1% income tax hai: income tax return mein aapke tax mein adjust hota hai, aur extra cut hua ho toh refund milta hai. 1 April 2026 se TDS ka rule new Income-tax Act, 2025 mein hai, rate same 0.1%. Detail: Meesho TCS aur TDS kya hai.
Sellers ke sawaal
Meesho me profit kaise nikale?
Apna price lein, usme se cost, return shipping, packaging, ads aur GST payable minus karein. Costs ko delivered orders pe divide karein, placed orders pe nahi. TCS aur TDS count mat karein: woh tax credit hain.
Meesho me profit kitna hota hai?
Yeh aapke price, cost aur kitne parcels wapas aate hain, us pe depend karta hai. Humare example mein ₹500 price aur ₹250 cost pe har delivered order pe around ₹177 bache, ₹250 nahi.
Kitne return pe profit khatam ho jaata hai?
Humare example mein, 20 RTO same rakh ke, customer ko deliver hue 80 parcels mein se 43 return hone pe profit around ₹0 ho jaata hai, matlab around 2 mein se 1. Delivery ki jagah return ho toh har return ka cost around ₹374 hai: us order ka ₹226 profit gaya, plus ₹175 return shipping, minus around ₹27 GST wapas.
TCS TDS loss hota hai kya?
Nahi. TCS (0.5%) GST portal pe wapas claim hota hai. TDS (0.1%) aapke income tax mein adjust hota hai, aur extra ho toh refund milta hai. Tab tak thoda money ruka rehta hai.
RTO se profit pe kitna fark padta hai?
Fark padta hai, bhale hi RTO pe ₹0 charge hai. Packaging ka cost waste hota hai aur order se kuch nahi milta, toh har delivered order pe thoda zyada cost aata hai.
Aage kya karein
Apna price, cost, packaging, ads aur kitne orders wapas aate hain, daalein. Yeh har delivered order ka profit isi guide ke method se calculate karta hai. Return charge woh daalein jo aapki file mein dikhta hai. Free hai.
