Example numbers. The ₹540 already includes the shipping the customer paid.
The numbers on this page come from one real store's payment files, May to October 2026. A delivered order kept about 98% of the listing price (most orders 97.5% to 98.2%). Forward shipping is the biggest cut, but the customer paid most of it on top of your price: what shipping really costs you.
Where to download it
This is the file you get when you download payments in the panel. Some sellers call it the payment report or settlement report. In the supplier panel, go to the payments section. Download previous payments (money already sent) or outstanding payments (money still to come) for a date range. You get a zip with one Excel file inside.
The Excel file has five sheets. Order Payments is the one you need. Ads Cost shows what your ads took from your payment. Referral Payments and Compensation and Recovery were empty: claims and fee recoveries came inside Order Payments.
The columns that matter
There are more than 40 columns. Many were ₹0 on every order: commission, fixed fee, warehousing, platform fees. These are the ones that move your money:
Example numbers, not a real order.
Why some amounts are negative
Worked example
One order: delivered, returned or RTO
| DeliveredSale minus shipping, TCS and TDS | ₹491.92 |
| Returned before you were paidSale and sale return cancel out; return shipping is charged | −₹175 |
| RTO (courier could not deliver)Sale and sale return cancel out; nothing charged | ₹0 |
Example numbers. If the return comes after you were paid, it comes as a new row: the sale is taken back, forward shipping is refunded and return shipping is charged. That row can be −₹600 or more.
Return shipping was a flat ₹175 on about 94% of returns, whatever the product price. Every RTO showed ₹0. Packaging is not in the file at all, but you pay it on every parcel. See return and RTO charges.
About 1 row in 12 had no status. These are real money: claims (paid to you when a returned parcel was wrong, damaged or had missing items; the reason is in Claims Reason) and Recovery (money Meesho takes back; here it was always "Affiliate Fee"). They usually come 2 to 4 weeks after the order.
Match the money to your orders and bank
Sellers call this payment reconciliation: checking that every rupee in your bank matches an order. In Excel it takes three steps.
- Remove repeats first. Downloads with overlapping dates repeat the same rows. In Excel: select the sheet, then Data → Remove Duplicates. In our check, about 3,200 rows came down to about 1,260.
- Add up each order. Delete rows 1 and 3 first (Meesho's notes and formulas). Then Insert → PivotTable, put Sub Order No in Rows and Final Settlement Amount in Values. If it shows Count, change it to Sum. Now each order shows one total.
- Match one bank credit. Do the same with Payment Date in Rows. Each payment day had one Transaction ID, so each day's total is one amount in your bank.
For monthly profit, go by Order Date, not Payment Date. Money came about 14 days after the order, so a "September" payment file is mostly late-August and September orders. For money still to come, open outstanding payments: it shows an expected date, or "unschedule" while the parcel is on the way. More in when Meesho pays.
Questions sellers ask
Where do I download the Meesho payment report?
In the supplier panel, open the payments section and download previous payments (or outstanding payments) for your dates. It comes as a zip with an Excel file inside.
Why is Final Settlement Amount negative?
On a return it is usually minus the return shipping (often ₹175). A return after you were paid also takes the sale back. Fee recoveries are negative too; claims are positive.
How do I match my Meesho payment with my bank?
Add up Final Settlement Amount by Payment Date. Each payment day has one Transaction ID, so each day's total is one credit in your bank. Remove repeated rows first.
Why does the same order appear twice?
Either money moved on it more than once (a sale, then a return, claim or fee), or two of your downloads have overlapping dates. Remove exact repeats, then add up each order.
Next step
OrderLens reads these files for you. It removes repeats, adds up each order, and shows what was paid, what is still to come, and your real profit after returns. It's free for now.
